Nearly twenty-three years after the untimely demise of Bill Cosby's son, the world remembers the only son of one of the greatest television idols to grace the screens.

American stand-up comedian, musician, and actor, Bill Cosby lost his son Ennis William Cosby on January 17, 1997, after he was shot dead on a Los Angeles Freeway by an unseen assailant.

THE LIFE OF ENNIS COSBY

The then 27-year-old fell victim to the unfortunate incident during a visit to LA, where he went to spend time with his friends.

The deceased was born to the Cosbys as their third child and only son on April 15, 1969. He was born with a medical condition, dyslexia, which affected his ability to make out words and figures.

HOW DID ENNIS COSBY DIE?

Despite his reading challenges, he graduated from Moorehouse College, Atlanta successfully and was pursuing a doctorate in special education at the Columbian University before he met his end.

The late son of Bill Cosby was found dead by a motorist with a gunshot wound on his head. At the time of discovery, the diseased lay in a pool of his blood beside his green Mercedes-Benz sports convertible, surrounded by tire-changing tools.

According to the police report, the then 27-year-old was driving along Interstate 405 but pulled over to change his flat tires when the murderer attacked and shot him.

Due to his state of discovery, the LA police ruled the murder as a robbery-attempt-gone-awry, although nothing was discovered missing.

MIKHAIL'S CONFESSION

The appeal was dismissed shortly via a letter to the California District Attorney general, Kyle Brodie, with Mikhail confessing his crimes. The convicted also apologized to his victim's parents, in a bid to do the right thing.

His wishes were granted accordingly, and the appeal was dismissed. The appellate attorney commended the young man for his strong value system and show of remorse.

Over two decades later, Ennis still lives on in the hearts of his parents and loved ones.
